About Claywired Weaver

Claywired Weaver began with a love for creating beauty by hand — the kind of beauty that feels personal, textured, and full of story.

The name Claywired Weaver reflects the heart of what I create: polymer clay shaped into organic forms, wire woven with patience and care, and beads, glass, and natural stones brought together into wearable pieces of art. Each design is made in Maryland and carries a balance of softness and strength — earthy clay, delicate details, and wire that bends, wraps, and holds everything together.

I started this business because I wanted to create jewelry that felt different from mass-produced pieces. I wanted each pair of earrings, pendant, or statement piece to feel like something with personality — something thoughtful, artistic, and easy to love. My inspiration comes from nature, everyday beauty, storytelling, my own children, and the children I teach in Pre-K, who remind me daily to notice wonder in the smallest details.

Claywired Weaver exists to offer jewelry that feels meaningful without feeling too precious to wear. Some pieces are simple enough for everyday outfits, while others are bold, whimsical, or fantasy-inspired for those who love a little magic in what they wear. No two pieces are exactly alike, which means each customer receives something that feels uniquely theirs.

At its heart, Claywired Weaver is about celebrating handmade beauty, individuality, and the joy of wearing something created with care. My hope is that when you choose a piece, it feels like more than jewelry — it feels like a small work of art you can carry with you.

Meet Your Weaver

Hi, I'm Amy — the hands and heart behind Claywired Weaver.

I'm a maker, teacher, mother, and lifelong lover of creative expression. Claywired Weaver grew from my love of working with my hands and transforming simple materials into something meaningful. I'm drawn to the process: twisting wire, shaping clay, choosing stones and beads, and slowly bringing each design to life.

I love creating jewelry that feels earthy, artistic, personal, and just a little magical — pieces you can wear, love, and live in.

My inspiration comes from nature, storytelling, motherhood, teaching, and the magic of everyday life. As a Pre-K teacher, I spend my days surrounded by children who see the world with imagination, curiosity, and joy. They remind me to slow down, notice small details, and create with a sense of wonder. That same spirit shows up in my designs through earthy colors, flowing shapes, playful touches, and textures inspired by leaves, stone, water, movement, and the quiet beauty of the natural world.

As your weaver, I hope every piece you receive feels special, approachable, and uniquely yours.
